    The difficulty I have with this is that the problem in electronics is dissipating the heat fast enough to avoid a meltdown. Extracting work from the differential actually slows the heat transfer down (acts as an insulator) and so would make the device run hotter. It is NOT a cooling solution.

    If this Maxwellian device operates at lower temperatures, perhaps the heat not getting dissipated that fast is not really a problem?

    Mythology: Saturn (Kronos) is "the old man", father of Jupiter (Zeus), and it makes sense if he is the oldest of them all. The rest of the guys and gals are the new kids on the block.

    The situation is really the same as today, the only difference that today my data are scattered over one single piece of hardware instead of scattered over several. But scattered it still is. So the threats, basically, remain the same. If the "master server" is down equals if my personal machine is down, etc.
