A contract is a "meeting of the minds." I don't consider an agreement that basically states NewCo can make the agreement whatever they want when they want a "meeting of the minds." It is an unconscionable agreement. No reasonable person would agree to such an agreement. In law, unconscionable means: : unreasonably unfair to one party, marked by oppression, or otherwise unacceptably offensive to public policy
In contract law all parties are equal. So, if the contract says they can modify the contract it means you can too.
I've read Edison's light bulb still works (i.e. they turn it on in the museum tour) because there is more of a vacuum in it than the ones produced today. Is this true?
