Xperts is not a "benchmarketing" company. There would have been absolutely no reason for them to favor one dbase over another. They use many different databases/systems/languages for their applications(both open and closed source), and really can be considered a neutral party in these matters. A single post with no qualifications may not be very convincing, but try to trust me on this one.
there are a lot of adults who are a lot less mature than 14 year olds. don't tack the crap onto a specific age group-- it doesn't work that way. i know 13 year olds who act a lot better than some who are over 30.
Vitamin C is water soluble. Excess amounts of it leave your body, along with the water. Doesn't really do anything harmful; but if you don't get enough of it, say goodbye to your immune system.
With a twisted enough argument, it could be said that mp3's actually benefit the recording industry. It's like free advertising-- I know I've bought several CDs after grabbing mp3s off the net....CDs i wouldn't have bought otherwise...
This is true to a certain extent-- but still, there are many kids who get into prep schools solely because they have a lot of money or their parents went to the school. I've never been in the public school system, right now I'm at a prep school. It doesn't make things better socially, even though there may not be the same oppotunities for physical violence and such. Other students still isolate the "freaks", "geeks", and "drama fags". In a few cases, last year, the entire hall of my dorm went up against one of the other students. That kind of thing has happened to me, too. Private schools often provide better education, better teachers, but they're just as hard, if not harder, for the rejects to deal with.
"Better input" is not necessarily the case. Some students want to do better at school, but they certainly are no better than students at public schools.
I've got one. :) haven't gotten around to trying to hook up a turntable to my computer yet to encode it, but...
