what I'm looking for is an IM client that handles multiple protocols (the way miranda-im, pidgin, etc. do), and does video.
my friends are accustomed to using iChat with an AIM account. So I want to be able to do video chat over AIM, but with the same app with which I'll be doing MSN and Google talk as well. That was my intention by a program for Gnome that provides cross-platform instant messaging and video chat. I meant cross-IM-platforms. I though specifying that it's for gnome would make it clear that it's for linux only. Sorry about the confusion.
