    Usability isn't he issue, app are. Steam is changing all that. You can buy a ubunto box from Alienware for pete sake.

    You could run games and office on it. That hobbled it. Now I can use office via a web browser.

    the UI is fine. as good as windows 7 or OSX.

    Vista was a huge step. stability, technology, better api, more responsive, more visually capable, better 64 support, better security.
    Win 7 improved upon all that making it speedier.

    Every version, except 8, has created an uptick in PC purchases, and that includes ME

    ME included a lot of new features, but it's stability was an issue as was the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine.

    There was no stock crash becasue 100 years ago it was lower.

    Do you see you bad argument?
    Also, it proves that a coordinate attack can cause you to loose value outside of normal market forces.
    They will run out of bitcoin, and it will be a curiosity with a set of collectors.

    Of course someone could get addicted to Marijuana.

    However it's less likely then Alcohol. Anything the feels good can be addictive, so don't just dismiss it.
    If someone says smoking a joint till make you an addict! yes, shut them down but do not dismiss the idea, there are too many.
    Kids under 15 have a pretty high rate of addiction.

    Ryule of thumb, if you are knowingly harming yourself then you should talk to a professional about whether or not you are addict.

    The vast majority of them made reasonable decisions based on the information they had. The people creating the information were the problem.

    Of course there where a few that did actual illegal things. Make a bad investment is not illegal.
    Getting paid to make investments is not illegal.

    The loosening of requirements is the big issue.

    Are they? I haven't heard a good argument on why anyone should expect an email to be private. It's read and scanned by countless systems just to get it to its destination.

    You're statement is completely false.

    It's rewritten becasue t's part of an automated 24/7 system. I work with Emergency responders, and with people who design these systems. Plenty of people are willing and do take responsibility. People who aren't don't hold those position very long, assuming they could get one.

    When talking about the US government, remember a few things.
    1) 10's of thousands of project go on every year.
    2) the media only reports things they perceive as failures*
    3) The people in your government work far harder then any media ever shows
    5) The US government employees do a damn good job compared to any other government in the world.

    Yes, there will be problems. People make mistakes and people aren't perfect.

    *most aren't, there just a lack of understanding of the situation by the medias.and of course, some are.

    It's standard procedure in automated warning systems.
    I suspect it's one of several outlets that get hit when the system is activated.

    Remember, it's a 24/7 system so you need to maximize the chance it gets out.

    Accidents happen. Would you rather have a rare false positive to the general public, or a increased chance of the system failing ?

    It's not good. Everything after season one became a pandering episode.
    The characters, withing their own context, have gotten stupider.
    The relationship episode are the same as every other show with relationships. Same problems, same 'solution'.

    It is the classic, the 'real person' is right and has superiority over the 'smart' person.

    It's a another bland show; which is sad, because they started off so damn good.
