    I make less money then I did in 2001(100k+), and substantially more then I did in 2002.(60K). It's almost like a tech bubble burst or something.

    Is it the sun? Nope, the consistent rising temperature don't correlate to sun activity. If it did, the temp would go back down when the sun 'cooled'. Also, it would heat a different layer of the atmosphere, also, about a dozen other reason you wouldn't understand.

    Is it Cosmic ray no, there hasn't been any evidences to support that.

    Only 60% of the CO2 we put into the atmosphere is absorbed through the cycle. So we have CO2 not being absorbed.
    The properties of CO2 are understood.
    Every. Single. piece. of. data. point to man made.
    Yes, even when idiots like you claim some of the sensor are no good, becasue you have no clue how they work or the process, removing those data points still verifies greenhouse warming is happening. And frankly, not turning the mid-west into a dessert is a far, far more important then the current economy; which is improving, BTW.

    literally correct, practically it doesn't matter. we are talking many, many decades of use. 80+ years instead of 100+ years. And that assume completely filling the drive almost every 10 days, then erasing it.

    Assumption Min 3000 complete write/erase cycles and intelligent software. Not really that big of an assumption any more.

    Also, a modern DVD player will last for many years, and cost 20 bucks. One bought today is likely to last past the point it's even used.

    no, private industry can not do that for a fraction of the money. Assuming you were being figuratively. If you where being literal, then bear in mind 2/1 is a fraction.

    And no private industry is biling anything that they can do. And, frankly, I don't think they ever will. while there are great technologies, and a lot of money finding secondary uses for that technology, but no money in the actual goal. And skimming the atmosphere is not the same thing.

    Why would a private company go to mars? or to a moon to see if there is life in thee water?
    Any mining attempts will loose value becasue the increase is metals would lower the prices too much to make it worthless.

    Maybe some company would spend billion to do a great space mission in hopes of capitalizing on all the spin off technology. Tat would take a 30 year outlook. Not a lot of companies will take that kind of outlook and a mulit-billion dollar investment.

    The constellation cold be used with more then just the Ares.
