if by locked down, you mean on by default, but you can still turn off, you begin to have a point.
I'm not sure why hardware won't work on other systems since it on'y there to tell windows it's a certified piece of hardware. If the OS doesn't care about it, then it won't matter.
Hi. I work for a very large customer of MS. we also don't like upgrading. We ahve been given pretty definitive dats on when to stop using XP. Hint: not 10 years.
If enterprise customer wants to run an old unsupported OS with known vulnerabilities, they sure can. But they aren't getting support, and there are fewer and fewer IT people willing to twiddle there career away duct taping XP and going without the latest tools.
You're welcome to move, but i'm not sure how you consider this to be a pain in the but. I find it much easier and more intuitive.
OTOH, you own't really change. you'll use what you are using as long as you can, then switch to whatever version of windows is and make up excuses on why it's ok for you to use.
20 years ago it was 10Grand., Not sure if that has changes.
They are legally required to report to the DEA because the IRS doesn't communicate that information to government agencies with two exceptions:
A) Someone has defaulted and they need to seize assets. B) Another agency request for the information with a warrant for a specific person information.
And contrary to the knee jerk reaction most of the ignorant people on/. will make, the IRS takes it very seriously.
Of course, banks shouldn't be required to pass that information to anyone. OTOH, who carries brief cases of cash with them? SO dropping 10+K is suspicious.
And reporting to the DEA means they note it, might ask a few questions. For example if you are a travelling street performer, they might talk to you the first time, make a note and then you'll be fine.
Some behavior are suspicious fro a reason, so finding more information about what's going on is reasonable. Of course, where the line is is in constant debate.
That explains how a poor person was able to become president. It certainly wasn't hard work, and America backing him. It was old white guys deciding it was time for a darker skinned democrat to be president, instead of a republican that want's to allow business to do whatever they please to whomever the please.
"official counterfeiters" oxymoron. Someone legal appointed to 'print money' is, by definition, not a counterfeiter.
I know you love these stories as a chance to show off how ignorant you are by making nonsense statement about the Federal Reserve. really, it's time for you to grow up.
You does care? what do you care if some analyzes you purchases? It just means better data on what consumers are buys. When talking about ads, the ads that will be presented to you will be more likely to be relevant.
This has been implemented pretty damn successfully in Japan.
I also not you don't compare you 'disadvantages' to the pros. someone steal your cash, too bad, so sad. Some steals you phone, you make a call and the phone is no longer able to access your account. And it will be likely that if the do manage to figure out your pin* and spend money, you will no be obligated for those purchase, like credit card fraud.
*Lets face it, if they are pointing a gun at you your going to tell them your pin. It is good against people who just snatch an unattended phone, to pick pocket it.
lulz. Yeah, no one will figure out a way to copy bits, are attack a verification process.
Personally I can't wait to not carry cash. OTOH, this will cause retailer to incur an additional cost. And the default of 'you need to pay a fee to make a transaction' annoys me.
Maybe if you could charge retailers a fee to use the system, and it was controlled by the Federal reserve we would solve that problem.
""Simply giving your mother an e-book for her birthday could constitute patent infringement " once again, someone has no clue how the patent system works, and everyone will use this chance to show how ignorant they are of the patent system.
Half = almost now.
Good to know.
It would run infinitely fast at 0 hertz
Yes, keep telling yourself you can't get hot women because you are too confident and have a huge cock.
Memory support, and about 1000 other modern abilities.
Since many people actually run new software, XP is won't work for them.
OTOH, you can't even manage your XP machines correctly, so I'm not sue upgrading is a wise thing for you to do.
Ubuntu doesn't have drivers for my wireless card.
