How is that any different from what the oil companies did back in the seventies by manufacturing an "energy crisis" for the express purpose of raping our wallets?
A few months after I got my Wii, the graphics started to glitch (like an overclock gone bad) and then the disc drive failed. I've had no issues since the repair.
During the Vista beta, the 915 was perfectly capable of doing Aero Glass using XPDM drivers. Then MS toggled on the WDDM requirement (at Intel's request?), and now it is where it is.
The only problem is that the USB adapter is a PITA to use. It has some strange dependence on Internet Connection Sharing, and its auto-magic configuration means you can't troubleshoot it.

It's not just in the PC space that MS is better with bluetooth. You can swap Linux and Windows with Wii and Xbox and the story is the same.
