Roblimo seems to have taken alot of shit due to this interview, otherwise he wouldn't have included his disclaimer about not being everyone's cup of tea. Well, he deserved every negative comment he got about this one.
I seen more believable stuff in the headlines of The Enquiror. The Alex actaully put some thought into is reasonings about China/Taiwan/Tibet, though the rest of the interview lackes that much thought.
i like the part about supporting Population Control, but please buy my immortality rings. Uhm, this just reeks of logic.
Next we need John Travolta or Tom Cruise to be interviews about Scientology...
"So Tom, was the Alien story a shock to you when you got to UTIII?"
Alex,
Does your ankle bracelet casue any problems with my home detention/house arrest ankle bracelet? It would not be a good thing if my probation officer thought i was violating my probation when i was really at home. I am not sure i wanna live forever if i am in jail the whole time.
The damage done by the legel BS etoys pulled is far worse than good they have done by using Open Source software. Just because a company uses linux doesn't mean they are just great and could never do wrong. Its not like etoys was a great developer either, so they used Open Source, and didn't really contribute anything back.
I faced a bit of a dilema this holiday shopping season. I wanted to pick up an educational game for younger friend of mine, but couldn't find it locally. Searching the major toystore websites provided me with only etoys carrying the game. As much as i wanted to give this game as a gift, i couldn't bring myself to buy anything from etoys. I was about to give up and look for something else for the young lady, but happened upon a site that carried the game. The site had been down/flooded when i looked earlier, but this time came up. The game was 5 dollars higher at this site than at etoys, and i spent quite a bit on shipping due to finding it at the last minute, but I feel it is money well spent if the money goes to a competitor of etoys.
my principles are worth more than 25 bucks, for now atleast.
technoid

"John, how much has salvation cost you so far?"
