We're screwed. When will we realize that Copyright Law is an abomination of human thought. As Hemos said at WEBNIGHT, (paraphrasing) "The idea that 'I said it first! You can't use it' is an enforcable law is ridiculous." This is playground mentality at it's worst.
VINDICATION!!! HA HA! The bane of my existance is dead! There is nothing more evil on this planet than the Microsoft paperclip. Except, of course, Microsoft.
I realize that Yahoo! has been in a crunch financially lately, but is this really the right way to go? Porn? I think they should be the first to build a dependable coast-to-coast high speed ISP solution. That'll make them millions. Come to New Hampshire first. Please....?
Who, in their right mind, would support such a standard? And how long (in milliseconds) would it take the slashdot community to organize a complete counter-strike? We should break-off and start our own computing nation.
The faster the Internet grows, the more AOL-free content is created. I say strain those routers. Upgrades are inevitable anyway, I mean, we're called nerds for a reason.;-)
AOL needs to learn how to share.
I acknowledge that this may be an April Fools joke, which I hope it is. But if not...
Damn AOL. They need to stop buying up every line of Internet communication. Big Brother is upon us. I wonder when Microsoft will get into the game. "AOL Time-Warner Microsoft"? I mean, Microsoft has practically built the AOL OS with Windows XP.
I went to school with a Jeni4 Jones. See here. I don't think it was her given name. But rumor was that it was legally changed.
The day they start charging per email, is the day slashdotters begin work on a free alternative.
A lone beacon of hope in a copyrighted world.

Can we sue a company solely for monopolistic tactics with shitty software?

Where the hell is solar power? Weren't we supposed to be using that by now? Or...would we end up draining the sun?
It is a sad day when AOL realizes it's ultimate dream: AOL becomes "the Internet."
