You said it so called "illegal activity is huge. Yet somehow OK with most people." That statement alone and the fact that 90%+ is of that type would dictate that within our society it is morally ok to do it. Morals are set by society as a whole not an industry. For around 50 years the people were pantsed by the record industy. Well bend over baby and take it back!

I work at a locally owned printing & graphics company. Like Barnes & Noble, Kinkos is our large national competition. By being small and local the owner of our store can move quickly and attract the local market. Instead of spending your time complaining about how superior the competition is perhaps inproving your local business would be the way to go. Instead of low prices offer the community something they want. AOL has huge message forums yet all of us are on /. why? Perhaps they addressed our needs and that is what keeps us coming back. Be creative and the larger national chains cannot put you out of business. Lay down and complain and well you might want to shut your doors now.

I cannot even imagine all that we read about this corporate naming. How is it that I cannot have any domain not currently taken. If we all have the same rights and abilities to get the names what is the problem. How can courts or lawyers possibly punish people for creativity. If a domain name is available well it is available. This is punishing individuals and companies that belived in the power of the internet at the beginning. Just because you own Johns Plumbing does not give you some right to JohnsPlumbing.com. Yet the government will mess all this up. 1st come should be 1st served.

That module was only included in plans so that the american taxpayers would not kill thier congressman/woman. Just ask anybody at Boeing. That part of the Station will never exist. Politics suck.

  5. Re:Here's how it works on Red Hat Files For Followup Stock Offering · · Score: 1

The amount of stock and money allowed to be raised/sold is determined by the SEC. Not the company petitioning for the sale of stock or options. Due to the speculative nature of stocks the SEC is required to watch over stock offerings. In other words when we say a company is worth x dollars we have no real idea. When companies got broken down and sold rarely is the published company values we read accurate. The entire point of a market economy is the fact that the nature of assets is flexible.
