Funny how you never see anything about Ukraine's initial threats (and follow-through) to cut power to Crimea completely unprovoked after a reasonably long period of truce in that conflict.
The saddest thing about this is not the sabotage itself, but how Russia made a shambles of maintaining the region it had taken. The Russian authorities were well aware of the blackout threats and knew full well that the neo-Nazi scum were capable of carrying them out with the connivance of the Yatsenyuk government. Yet in one and a half years no one lifted a fucking finger to reroute the Crimean power grid until it was too late. They preferred going through their usual thieving motions with their heads up their arses.
Yeah Ukraine government was a corrupt spos (which is why Russia was so happy to see it gone, regardless of any public claims they make)
These particular claims were quite sincere, and the Russian authorities really weren't chuffed about the situation. They didn't have a problem with someone being corrupt; what kind of problem is that? On the contrary, if your puppet is a greedy mofo, it's a chance for you to share in their lucrative little schemes.
Your link is to a Crimea power outage in November. This is about an outage in Ukraine in December.
The December attacks didn't come out of the blue. They came after Ukrainian nationalists blew up the power lines running to Crimea (and a couple of Ukrainian towns while they were at it) in November, causing a near-total blackout. Russia has provided a power line since, and there's another one in the works, but the peninsula is still short on electricity.
The fact that you are saying this is a testament to the success of the Russian propaganda campaign. Russia's Chechen, Ossetian, and Russian mercenaries shell civilian populations on a regular basis, under the belief that the locals will blame the Ukrainian army (most of them watch Russian state-owned TV channels, which promote the notion that Ukraine is responsible for the shelling).
For example, Russia's forces just shelled the town of Debaltseve: http://goo.gl/rsgmF2
Apparently sanctions do work though because a lot of rich folk are getting screwed.
The purported purpose of the sanctions was not to screw over some fat cats, but to make Russia change its course in the conflict. Russia has not changed it, and Kiev has been acting on more or less Moscow's terms. Ergo, the sanctions do not work.
MH17 filed a flight plan requesting to fly at 35,000ft throughout Ukrainian airspace. This is close to the ‘optimum’ altitude.
However, an aircraft’s altitude in flight is determined by air traffic control on the ground. Upon entering Ukrainian airspace, MH17 was instructed by Ukrainian air traffic control to fly at 33,000ft.
Looks like Ukrainian air control knocked them down a notch. BAM!

In other words, the Schwarz.
Apparently it had an abortion in the end.

Ukrainian media are, well, meh. NYT, however, is a more reputable source: http://www.nytimes.com/2014/10...

They are fucking at war.
They'd be winning if they fought instead.
Whoosh what? She was never president.
Ukranian Darth Vader will solve the seperatist rebel problem by incinerating the planet that shelters them.
Not exactly. He will look on indifferently as his puppet master does it.
Ex-who?
He is a dick all right, but he's just a tater short.
in elections they all did about as well as Svoboda or better
Pfff elections schmelections. Svoboda got the defense posts in government without playing that stupid game.
What? No Jar-Jar Binks?
Have they been forced on this path by Ukraine air control?
Here's the airline's writeup: http://www.malaysiaairlines.co...

Not accepting features that go against Tom's vision even if they are optional and demanded by users.
This is normally due to sheer lack of time, especially with all the bugs to fix. And frankly, most user demands are worthless anyway.
How is Blender an alternative to RenderMan? Apparently you haven't used either.
