Yes, Crusoe is sexy right now. It runs at 400-700 Mhz, but how does that translate to the real world? How many instructions per cycle does it perform? Could it really support the types of image manipulations provided by Quartz for MacOS X, which I belive MacOS Rumors is implying will run on top of this port of Darwin?
Actually, the Smithsonian already has a mock up of it with wooden case and everything. It's in a display set up as if it's the Homebrew computer club where the Woz first showed his wares.

I am particularly humored by Apple announcements on Slashdot because no matter how much people hate/love Apple and their products nothing, and I mean NOTHING gets a bunch of computer geeks talking like a company who is really doing something to change the industry, especially this company.
