Or you can use the "multiple desktops" feature of various window managers (Sawfish definitely, have also seen it on most Gnome or KDE setups).
Just have your game open on one desktop, then click the button on the panel (or if mapped use Alt-F1, Alt-F2 or the like) to switch to your "work" desktop.
This is faster on mine than switching VCs, and as someone else mentioned, the monitor's resyncing is to be considered.
Was it just me, or did anyone else notice that the length of the song (as reported by XMMS) seemed to oscillate between 3:49 and 5:44? Seemed to be all the way through (but no, I didn't listen to all of it:) How does that work?
Looks like it was more than their HTML that needs fixing...

Sorry to ruin the theory, but I believe Dr Okun said that they couldn't duplicate the power source, so all the "cool gadgets" (presumably this includes the computer system) had only come on the last couple of days.

Why is it that sendmail is part of the base install (can't [de]select it in the package list)? Apache isn't. Bind isn't. wu-ftpd isn't. Why is sendmail, especially given its history of security problems? (or have you fixed this in RH7.1?)
Yes, I know you can always uninstall it when you first log in, but it seems a bit worrying considering that newbies probably wouldn't.
...having just seen _this last week_ the Voyager episode (Extreme Risk) where Torres goes orbital skydiving (yes, us Aussies are a bit behind:( . Admittedly that was on the holodeck...
