What is it with companies and selling personal information these days?
I guess it's time for me to switch to another carrier and tell everyone I know who's on Verizon to do the same.
I just switched to Verizon a few weeks ago, too.
I hear a lot of talk about parents having a college fund for their kids, or parents paying for their college education - stuff like that. I can't say this is the case for everyone, but I imagine that it hurts some of those kids more than it helps.
I just think that if you're at college, paying your own way with the money that you earned, you're going to work harder. It's going to mean more to you. If college gets handed to you by your parents, there's a chance some people might go and party instead of study for that mid-term or whatever.
