The primary advantage that I can see for a BASIC INCOME is that it should be less expensive to administer with fewer agencies and bureaucrats. This was why Milton Friedman proposed the idea which he called the NEGATIVE INCOME TAX.
I really like Pascal's assignment operator. a := b + c is more obvious than a = b + c vs. a == b + c.
It would only be evidence to those who were there to observe the event.
Two atheist churches! Do they believe in two different not-Gods?
Can you point to "thought"? Thought exists, even in the absense of a physical manifestation.

I've actually seen people trying to parallel park while yapping on the cell phone.
Good: People will not be able to talk on cell phones while driving.
Bad: Passengers (in cars, buses, subways, airplanes, or whatever) would also not be able to use cell phones.
