Additionally, although tools like Matlab exist they don't provide the power that justify the huge price tag they carry.>
This is the problem of all linux users, they think that everything is free and they are killing their own industry living on the money of the stupid IPO of companies like RedHat, valinux, mandrake and others. The development of linux would never be without those company and by the governement funds.
I'm just feeling bad about this cause I would like to do software for living later and this is not on the linux side that I will can.
I'm just hoping linux will not kill the software industry.
I care. When using 3d and video I really care about my processor.
Listening to people like you, a 25 mhz would be fine? Sorry, I'm targeting 100 GHz for my neural network programming, genetic programming, collision detection, radiosity rendering, realtime advance 3d gaming...
I agree with you. I feel strange when I see that we are now having better distribution network in the pirate world than in the legal market. Is it the end of capitalist?
I think Corel's stock is going down for a long time... It will cost them a lot of money for Painter and Bryce. Do you remember the buy of Wordperfect ?
I see no profits for a long time. More dramatic, I see no release of CorelDraw 10 for mac and Win32. I think corel isnt doing the right thing by investing too much on linux. They r forgetting the win32 and mac consumers who have more money to spend then a 18 years old student on linux.
Really, I think that selling corel now is a good thing. For myself, I will reinvest when I will see a new version of Corel Draw on the table.
Not worth reading... who cares about bryce?
thank you,
Louis

Intel has the true spirit of America. AMD is just a Fu*ki*g company trying to suck the blood on Intel.
Intel innovates . They are at the beginning of the computer revolution.
Long live intel, hell to AMD
