Whats about in a larger scale, I mean what about a laser beam send from Mercury directly to earth, even with all the interferences an the rotations from mercury him self and the Venus you can surely produce enough energy for earth, at least till something goes horrible wrong and we destroy our own planet with the beam....

Whats about the great point and click adventures. Sure the jump from 2D to 3D broke their neck....nobody is seeing stuff like Monkey Island, Sam and Max-Hit the road, Fate of Atlantis or I have no mouth but I must scream lately. but those where in my opinion the most entertaining, funny, yet challenging games ever made. For most of of the point and click - games you had to invest a lot of brainpower and creativity (sometimes you had to think like Guybrush Threabwood or Indiana Jones) for.
so thous would be the game worth being conserved and remade for the future generation, because after finishing Beneath a Steel Sky or Loom you knew, you had achieved something big!
I say let the Russians make the good sci-fi movies, I mean, everybody is referencing 2001 but nobody mentioned Solyaris by Andrei Tarkovsky http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069293/, the brilliant story by Stanislaw Lem
I like the totally different approach to science fiction, in a more sensitive way, without big budgets or special Fx. This would be the way I'd like to see future production (yeah, a man can dream) but consider what a good russian or french director with a half decent budget would make with a good science fiction story , since they have different perception of the matter. Also Ripley Scott proofed that Hollywood directors can make good sci-fi movies (I liked Bladerunner and Alien). Luke Beson made a beautiful masterpiece with the Fith Elemen. some director had potential but most of the Hollywood jerks can't get through it.
what they made with Indy an Star Wars was just wrong, what they made with the new Bond, wrong, I-robot-wrong, Dark Knight....hell yeah! but the majority of the recent Hollywood movies are utterly bad bad bad...
so, pleas let the real artists make the good movies and leave the action-sex-gore flicks to the rest....
Possibility would be, that you begin as a small worker, townsman, Farmer what ever, and you don't know who is a NPC and who a normal player, at the beginning you get a random name, and you only can change it whit the time.
You also have to behave your self or you get Punished by the other townsfolk, so you have to do the normal stuff, until you got enough money to charter a space-carrier to travel to different planets and places, But in all this time you have to keep in mind to maintain a low profile to don't get known, because evil Bounty hunters will hunt you down. So you become a member of a space-freighter or you can join the army, you know, you live in this world, with the people, in the KOTOR world, that would be awesome, not riding from quest to quest and gaining Xp but actually living there and seeking Adventures.
