  1. not surprising on Apple Quietly Recommends Antivirus Software For Macs · · Score: 1

macs were never invulnerable, it's just that no one ever bothered making viruses for macs as they were pretty much unused in any sort of serious way. the recent apple revival and hardcore attacks against windows inevitably led some people to actually making viruses for the mac. it's entirely believable, and entirely plausible, and it's one more fallacy apple can no longer spin. enjoy your apple tax people.

  2. nothing new on Study Debunks Gamer Stereotypes · · Score: 1

"but the value of the gamer as a marketing target can be seen in a variety of ways. 39 percent of gamers said that friends and family rely upon them to stay up-to-date about the latest technology." as opposed to an overwhelming result for mature gamers being prominent. all statistics are bullshit. or "variously open".

  5. get it together on Stellar Seismologists Record "Music" From Stars · · Score: 1

stripping the "melody" away from an ambient song leaves you with only a pulse. it's not surprising in any way that stellar *oscillations* converted to sound result in a pulse. there's science, and there's just random grabbing at stupidity to justify a research grant.

  6. c'mon on Which Phone To Develop For? · · Score: 1

if you're rich enough to do all of this you can spring for a contractor that will set it up for you. honestly, the google phone (android base) would be the most capable, but might be beyond you. an intricate setup like this requires more than a google and a random forum question. hire someone to set it up for you AND show you how to use it.

  7. get a clue on Reliable, Free Anti-Virus Software? · · Score: 1

first of all, learn how to use use google. secondly, kaspersky is the best out there, even the trial version is awesome. thirdly, build your own pc next time you get a computer (or get a mac because no one bothers making viruses for macs).
