    Legality has little to do with it.
    If you push people, it is expected that they will act, regardless of the law preventing certain actions.

    There is no female equivalent of the expression "mancave", though I could have used "mother's basement" instead, which at least is gender neutral.

    It depends what you're trying to qualify.
    If it's for marketing purposes, then I suppose that the only thing that matters is how many titles are bought by unit of time, and how much money per title.

    "Gamer" is associated with people who spend most of their time playing games inside their mancave.
    People who play a bit of casual gaming on the go from time to time are not gamers.

    On the contrary, it should hurt your social skills significantly. In real life you can't have the luxury of not interacting with normal people.

    It's extremely easy to find work in the engineering fields even if you have shitty grades.
    It appears you just suck at applying for jobs and selling yourself.

    With Linkedin today it's even easier. I get contacted by headhunters for high-paid jobs on a daily basis.

    I've figured I was smart when I was sent to a special school that only accepted people with high IQ.
    It was arguably the worse year of my life.

    If you're ever offered to do this for your kid, think twice.
