Following that thought then shouldn't we ban dental work, prosthetics and glasses for those who "need" them. After all the rich can afford any and all of them while the underclass cannot, or unless we're going to let Obama's Health care program take care of the issues.
I remember the same sort of discussions when the Cochlear implants for the deaf were proposed. There were a number of them who protested it saying there was nothing wrong with being deaf and that it was normal.
Does anyone realize that such 'abilities' colorblindness, hearing loss, inhalers etc are not the traits of the strongest. So if you've got a Darwin sticker on your car you shouldn't be in favor of any health care since "only the strong survive."
