while i like the idea of free Anti-virus software, it will kill the competion, witch is not a good thing, pretty sure everyone knows that.
i don't get this, i once heard a rant from bill gates about the software dev's not getting paid for their work, this was about freeware and open source software. so now he is starting to give out free software?
i bet what will happen will be microsoft makes it free, kills the competion, then jacks up the price 10 fold of what it was before.
i think you should, because the longer it takes the more money the employer would dish out, meaning that it is an incentive to get new equitment when needed.
