I don't know if you were kidding or not, but that would actually be a great idea. Not an actual suit persay, but maybe a series of sensors on the body? That would actually insert your motions into the game and allow you to interact with your environment, as opposed to just putting in a video feed (PlayStation Eye).

By reputation I meant a good reputation. Also, maybe BiC used to sell a lot of pens, but so does everyone else. There is much more competition in the pen market than in the mouse market.

McDonald's does not actually SHIP anything. I don't know about pens/pencils, considering the abundance of brands who are all a similar price.
However, Logitech can have online orders as well, and has a reputation.
Apple is spread far more thin than Microsoft. Microsoft has an incredible manufacturing capability. However, Apple does not only make computers, but iPods and other devices as well. If they only focused on computers, their share would increase, but never challenge the giant that is Microsoft.
