Yep the police are not there to protect you, they are there to punish people, and keep the rabble in line. Sure sometimes some people need punishment but the police operate from the standpoint that everyone needs punishment and if they punish you wrongly well the court system is there and it will be taken care of.
It basically all comes back to the saying "If all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail".
I think this could be a good way to get people into PC gaming myself. I know plenty of people who seem to think PC gaming is this huge headache and that you have to fiddle with bunch of stuff to get each game to work, and that your PC specs must be exactly right.
I'm sure you'd be able to play all your games from Steam on this thing. It's not like Valve has ever discouraged people from playing their games across multiple computers.
I have to agree Lasers make the most since if you're fighting at any distance in space, that is unless you have some sort of weapon that travels faster than light by even a small magnitude. Though the Honor Harrington series does make interesting use of missiles and small fighter craft.
Look HP I get it, Chinese labor is cheap, and there are a lot of Chinese people to spare but I just don't see how this is feasible. Plus just imagine the shipping and handling? Plus where is it going to sleep?
I get it you don't want to seem behind on the times with apple using cheap drones to assemble all it's products but including one with each PC bought might be pushing it.
I likely read more than you do. Don't assume that because I play video games that I am not also an avid reader. I enjoy good story telling in any form, and suggest that I would of disdained the same story because it was in book format is retarded.
Sure game play is important but so is story. There have been games that had a story I liked so much that I kept playing despite poor or boring game play mechanics. I'm not talking about final fantasy xlvi or what ever either.
Yep even if the headline is miss leading this is a big deal. Assuming these people remain rejection free.

Who would be stupid enough to upload nude photos of themselves to facebook?
That is an interesting question and something I hadn't considered. I do wonder how valve will deal with that.

Because more laws are just what the internet needs. /sarcasm
You did not...See this is why we can't have nice things people! This is why we can't have nice things.
Why you think the politicians are paying this out of their own pockets? This is from the tax payers pockets.

Sanderson is one of those terrible authors who can't seem to not write a best seller. I'd be jealous if I wasn't enjoying his books so much.

He who has the lawyers wins.

I know what you mean, I have this strange compulsion to laugh at the people who do.
I can quit any time I want!
Ha! I don't drink smoke or do any drugs or have a face book account! I am immune to such temptations! muhahaha.
I was always under the impression that man didn't evolve from apes but that we shared a common ancestor fairly recently on the evolutionary scale.
ya I watched the entire video and that was all I was thinking about the entire time. The future is here and it is scary folks.
Lets hope they don't. A case like this can have far reaching implications, if they side with DC in this.
ya but it doesn't get the headline attention that agent orange does.
I see what you did there...
Nvidia pays better, and sends better swag I'd guess.
