I was looking at a couple of the commercial vehicals and found solar panels missing.
Not that one can expect a solar panel to extend range, but it can reduce the cost for use. Most cars sit in the parking lot during the day. Why not let the cars "refill" for free?
The issue of in-transit security is a small one. What if someone hacks into their server to get the mail. To keep your boss (ISP) from reading the email is already there -- SSL. If you are concerned about packet sniffing, large quantities and packet splitting will help hide it (a little bit). What about keystroke monitoring?
If the keys are not secure, the data is not secure. Now, what if the keys are suppeoned from the provided?
What about compatibility with pop3 clients and operating systems?
Mattel tried to censor me and my website with frivilous and abusive litigation. I am now fighting back with a $48.5 million dollar lawsuit. If they paid that much money, then they may think about abusing others.
Why $48.5 million? Actually it's $48,595,103.77. Most of that number comes from the survey done on the site last year.
Mattel threatened Mattl.com, went after www.barbiebenson.com, the cphack guys. And this little guy is fighting back!
Wasn't this similar to the scam a while back?

Personal Helicopter

Wasn't there a "jetpack" of sorts. It was a helicopter with impellers, retinal scan, backup systems.
They wanted you to work there for free, and then you might get a chance to see one. I have not seen a word of it since.
This is another example of our rights being stolen one inch at a time. The CPHack ruling said, working in concert, but not saying further...then this ruling saying linking...soon not linking but mentioning the url...then not being able to mention anything.
We must fight this and any infringment on our freedoms or we lose them!
Our rights are being voted away by politicians for votes or payoffs!
When congress passes laws, there has to be some appearance of of constitutionality. That is why we have the courts as a check of the legislative branch.
We will never eliminate this, but maybe reduce it.
won't eliminate this type f
Did you see the Distinguished Gentlemen? It's a documentary with Eddy Murphy.
In theory, we could eliminate the politicians. Individuals would be able to submit bills, on-line, vote on it on-line.
There will be some need for people to take a submitted bill and reform it into a properly worded, considered bill that would perform the intended action of the bill. Some laws have had unintended side-effects, but if the unwashed write them, it would be more of that.
The lack of elected politicians would reduce crime:).
But not having elected politicians would give paper pushers much more power.
It's not the cafeine that causes your typing problems. If it was the cafeine, you would correct your typos before you make the errors. But if you know the errors before you make them, would you still make them. Hmmm....
At one of the supermarkets in the Los Angeles area, they require a photo idlicense to get one of their cards. Next thing you know, they will want a DNA sample.
It will get better ratings than Survivor and Alley McBeal's kissing Ling Scene. People will just hack into it and have every system out there record The Hacker Channel during sweeps week.
I'd be willing to bet, they would only threaten a little guy.
We know, if they just counted programs from scratch, it would only be 1 program, Hello world from the sample, then everyone modified that.
Would Microsoft say something that's not true? Naaahhhh. Say it ain't so!
AMI does not provide an update, but they do offer to sell me one of their boards for $80.

Didn't they know Y2k was comming?

It might be convienent for the roadside phones, and electric cattle fences. But then why for houses and walkway lights, calculators?
I saw some 100W units for about $650. I remember seeing some things on flexible sheet style.
Maybe it's not practical for cars, yet.

It's not aften that they call it bad law, but they argue that it does not apply in the specific case.
But bad precedent is bad. It's better to avoid then to have to fight it.
2. Who has the keys?
3. Is it compatible with anything else?
4. How effective is the encryption?

Still, there is a judicial branch of government. And bills would have to be constitutional.
That is why we would still have some form of gatekeeper. But this would be on form and consitutionality.
There will be some need for people to take a submitted bill and reform it into a properly worded, considered bill that would perform the intended action of the bill. Some laws have had unintended side-effects, but if the unwashed write them, it would be more of that.

One may think, "big deal." And it may be true, for this problem. But then what about the next?
You know you drink too much coffeee when...
She had a box, which you had to move a knob and then report on what type of texture you feel. It was controlled by magnets.
Could it have been the "Movie that the kids put in the garbage paid?"
Switch back and forth between multiple shows at just the right time. The playback could be quite funny.
Now, if you can download video to someone else machine.....hmmmmm...stop me before I get in too much trouble.
It will get better ratings than Survivor and Alley McBeal's kissing Ling Scene. People will just hack into it and have every system out there record The Hacker Channel during sweeps week.
Talk about must see TV. :)
Now the Y2k problem adds an interesting twist. A company that does not update an older version for Y2k.
A company that went out of business, but did not list all 125 revisions of a package as it's assets. What happens?
All of this will be litigated.
