I don't think most people realize that friends of friends of friends etc can see status messages or What's on your Mind posts? And to all those people who post the incriminating pictures I pity the fools. There is no such thing as privacy.

writing recognition machines to help count votes?

I was browsing http://news.google.com/ and in one article (can't find the link now) it said hand writing recognition machines were used to help count the votes unlike previous years. These machines were supposedly only available in the larger cities.
