Fusion is possible now, it is just not practicle. It takes more engery to sustain and contain it. And this supernova in a can thing takes about the equilvant of 1 years worth of energy the US uses for 1 millisecond. I'd hate that electricty bill. (and I bet he lab is in California)
I liked Memory, Sorrow and Thorn very much also. I'm hoping he continues adventures in that land. Tailchaser's Song was good too, although it was just like Watership Down.
Get CS, you don't need to know how to spell. Cs will make you better at everything. You actually learn how to program right, not throw crap together using simple scripting languages.
Netscape is not easy to develop for. IE is much more forgiving in bad formed HTML and such. I still use netscape though, but will not if 6 takes up as much memory as the preview release does(for windows). 40 megs is a bit too much.
One of the best authors of both fantasy and scifi is Tad Williams. For SciFi check out the Otherland series. So far there is three of them. It is about the future Internet, for Fantasy of his read the Dragon bone chair series. Also the DeathGate Cycle Series is very good. Written by Margret Weiss and Tracey Hickman. The Drangonlance Series are good too. But if you read anything read Tad Williams.
They track your every move with those strips in the CC's. Shhhhh, carry them in tin foil.
Holland is cool, but Northern Michigan is beautiful. Not too much of a geek place though.

Anyone read Margret Weiss and Tracy Hickman's DeathGate Cycle Series? I liked them also.

I like his Tad's books, but I cannot compare them to Jordan since I have not read them. Tad tends to write real long detailed books.
