    Of course Sony are disappointed because they are greedy assholes.

    Its a pity a dubious industry apparently have managed to buy laws which allows them to make money from things they shouldn't be allowed to. Earning a decent coin is one thing, but this behavior is just amoral.
    If someone pays for a song they should be allowed to stream it from the cloud - if the laws prevent that those laws are wrong and must be changed.

    Except they have made the calculation, and the electric cars are generally more polluting than the gas cars.

    And for europe, they are not even cheap because there are heavy taxes on electrical power to get people to cut down on power usage or be more efficient (as in changing to low usage bulbs etc)

    What is hard to understand is that the greedy bastards are getting away with demanding so obscene prices for bandwidth which could and should be 5000% cheaper. Its not oil people. Its not going to run out, and there is no reason for it to be scarce - except dubious business practices.

    Yes, its amazing those idiots don't get that.

    It was bad enough when they changed the retweet to their new stupid way of displaying it (showing the avatar of the one getting retweeted rather than the one doing the retweeting), now this "consistent experience" is another word for bad interface.

    "Republic" and "democracy" are not alternatives to one another. A country can be both or neither or either one but not the other.

    The USA has a presidency rather than a monarchy, that makes it a republic, the government is elected by the people that makes it a democracy (a representative democracy to be more precise).

    Iraq, pre-war, was a non-democratic republic.
    The UK is a democratic monarchy.
    Saudi Arabia is a non-democratic monarchy.
    The USA is a democratic republic.
