Actually, if you watch the series, you will notice that it tries to be non-Eurocentric (or US centric). That's one of the things I like about it, it tries to present an actual WORLD history.
This article is misleading because it assumes some facts that are wrong (from my point):
"The best engineering managers are the best engineers". On the contrary, I think that the best engineers, usually, shouldn't go to be managers.. they should be 'architects'. Great managers have to be good (not the best) engineers , but great managers.
