There wasn't a damn thing anyone could have said or done to me to get me to fire on or direct my subordinates or others to fire on innocent (US) civilians.
If it came to an armed rebellion, many servicemembers would be part of it. I directed aircraft onto targets. I think that would be pretty effective against tanks.
