Here security/bodyguards that are not members of the police or military (ie hired by a private citizen or a corporation), are not allowed to respond with violence either. that is the job of the police, and under very dire circumstances the military. The police force are not hired by ME or any other civilian they are hired by our government to perform the will of the law, not the will of an individual or a corporation.
Please invite your friend around, and if he comes armed, he will most likely be in for a long time behind bars.

Well i wish i was pulling the big bucks like you. where im from CD's cost 30 bucks, and to be honest i simply don't have the disposable income to by any. however i find my self being able to download music at no cost to anyone, without having to trade scarce money for non-scarce goods.
are you going to tell me, that i should not have data that costs no one but my own bandwidth to obtain, not depriving anyone anything, because in my case what is being asked for in return simply does not exist, but the data does in âz supply.
from my understanding a compiler is usually created for an architecture, not the other way around. In this case gcc was not the best compiler for this architecture at that time (possibly still isn't) but would have to be developed to work with it, perhaps even bootstrapped using the Intel compiler. After all gcc has had to be ported to every architecture that it supports, not the other way around. The development community for this architecture probably wouldn't be bothered to much by having to install the Intel compiler collection methinks.
perhaps civilians shouldn't violently "defend" themselves or their property, I would call that vigilantism. running and hiding is always the best option.
this applies even more so to the use of firearms.
As for nuclear submarines, in New Zealand, we would like to politely tell you to fuck off, for the reasons so described in TFA.
