Also, your further quotes neglect to mention other statistics that show your point in a negative light, and is just as biased as any liberal talking point, except with the added benefit of lying ostensibly from the get go, making you a tool.

    To be fair, wouldn't the continuous existence of a plastics industry (a much better use for petroleum at the current moment even if that should probably be replaced a bit) mean asphalt is still existent as a byproduct of at least something (I know, begging the question is terribly poor form :p ).
    Also, the restoration of North America's railroads, public transit and toll roads might help reduce our need for asphalt (or kill Walmart, both of which are probably a good thing) by diverting some of the trafic (but it would need a complete culture shift I guess, I'm rather amazed how important people here think a car is, I'm a first-gen Canadian living in Montreal (so a major city in a small region of Quebec where half its population lives) with good transit so idg "car culture" at all from every point of reference possible).

    It also requires extensive (and dangerous) surgery, has a high rate of failure due to poor education techniques, and the machines themselves have a high rate of failure. They're extremely rare and tend to be uncomfortable, causing rashes every once in a while. They're also uncomfortable to keep on.

    I could probably pull textbooks from half a dozen classes on it, as opposed to you taking a class once at some point in a distant past, the juvenile phase doesn't end with fertility as it's only on of the indicators, which is also a misleading indicator in many species.

    To be fair, outside of hardware support linux legacy is not exactly a marketing point, a lot of projects have basically ripped everything out to start again, only a few api have legacy emulation.
