No, but if I want to be a pig, and spend all afternoon and eat 7 plates of pasta and wings, 7 slices of pie and 5 bowls of ice cream as well as consume 2 gallons of tea or soda at an "all you can eat $5.95" buffet, then they don't have the right to charge me another %5.95 just because I am eating more than the average customer. (No, I don't eat like this in real life) Do I also feel that if I am an average customer that I shouldn't have to pay $5.95 for my 2 year old child that may consume 1/10 of what I do as an adult? Would I be willing to pay $1.95? Maybe, but most buffets are children under X eat free when accompanied by paying adult.

If its always on, then I can always use it for the "Always on, Always Fast" price of $X/month.

Well, the only problem with that, is that it would break the Quatum Leap limits where Dr. Beckett can only leap into the bodies of people that lived during his lifetime. I think Capt. Archer is a bit too far beyond that. They even had Al get placed into a body becuase it was outside of Sam's lifespan. That was explained as 'exceptional' becuase Sam was in a body undergoing shock treatments during a thunderstorm.

No, no one honestly expects them to be secure, but for those that havent had the opportunity to look at M$ next Office innovation M$ Office XP (XP for experienced) Outlook XP will NOT accept any executable or scriptable attachments. If you can't prevent the problem, just delete everything that MAY cause a problem. And it does just that...deletes any attachment it doesnt like, and no, there isnt a check box to stop it from doing that. How do you want your mail today? No, I think you want it this way.

He is not claiming that it is 100% secure. Nothing is 100% secure, well, maybe that 4th part of cryptography outside the CIA. What he is asking, is "Would it be worth it to encrypt mail?" For a simple class example/problem, its a good solution, you dont have to develop a new algorithm, and should you lose the key, you can still retrieve the message, given some time. I would advocate PGP if you HAVE to have encrypted email.

Fremen v. Sardukar with the Fremen using only knives in most instances was against the book. I can see deviating from the book/changing thigns to eliminate voice overs, but leaving out the 'sonic' technology of House Atredes? This was an integral part of the story and would have supported the "Religious Fanatic" statements made by the Emporer. It would also be more believable when the Fremen attacked the palace.

Well, their take is that Windows is 100% flawless, so, why shouldnt they spout that they are on the top of the trial and the government is floundering.

As for the stock, it amkes folks too much money, and greed is always a major factor in things.
