    What scares me of late is how easy it is to create a mutation of this worm. I was chilled to see how many people are actually dumb enough to open something they have no knowledge of. Through media glorification this worm has captured the world's attention. It is a perfect opportunity for 'fame' for bored kids, script kiddies, etc.
    how hard would it be? rename the email. rename the script. change a few lines in the script: add a new file extension to overwrite, add a new URL to visit (whatever). Anyone with limited computer knowledge can do this - and people will still open these file attachments.

    The idea of setting up a honeypot to study "hacker" (r u sure this is the correct word?) activity is a questionable idea.

    This is not a recommended approach for any but the most experienced and knowledgable sysadmins. Setting up a honeypot in some system can do much more damage than good if set up inproperly (read insecurely). I am not confident that the general sysadmin population (here come the flames ;]) is competent enough to create realistic, secure, safe honey-pot environments.

    This seems like a net appliance with game controllers.

    What is going to be the medium for game distribution with the X-Box? Download over the Internet? Software you must load onto the HD? DVD?

    I don't trust Microsoft Hardware with a ethernet connection...they could do some scary stuff. What the hell is this thing and why does it need an expansion port?

    Actually this announcement is very important for AMD. Being 1st to market in a highly competitive industry is essential.

    Look at the advertisement ($$) and media attention ($$) AMD is getting. Compaq and Gateway just announced new machines powered by the AMD Athlon ($$) to be released later this month. There is a strong theme here: ($$).

    Does the sudden rash of DoS attacks and comprised systems have any effect on your Internet campaign?

    Knowing that you will be the focal point of politically minded hackers (believe it or not, they are out there!), how are you going to handle site security?

    How do you assure the public that what they read on your site is genuine and unadulturated?

    While anyone would agree that an OS with 63k+ bugs in it has some serious issues, bug counts are not fool-proof metrics for determining overall quality of a product. We have not insight as to the degree of severity of these bugs. The very word bug has many different meanings across dev teams. bugs--> issues, enhancements, performance? but whatever, its going to suck anyway.
