What happens when your manager comes over and wants to show you something but can't "tell" you how to get there?
"You have to see this site. Let me just see your mous...Hmmmm." He then proceeds to grab your head and sprain you neck showing you some site you have already seen a million times.
No thanks. I won't trade wrist RSI for neck RSI.;)
Doesn't OSXs base in BSD help game developers? I'm not a game developer so I don't know if they need some interfaces or APIs from Apple but shouldn't the game developers be able to create what they need? I was under the impression that this was one of the advantages of the BSD core.
I can, however, understand a "screw em'" attitude on the part of the game developers. It is a crying shame as I would probably consider a mac if they had some good games available. I'm one of those types who does my compilation on my Ultra60 at work and then comes home to play alien vs predator. I wish Apple would get their act together and relize that you can't beat windows in the office. You have to beat them in the home where people play games and kick around on the internet.
I guesss I was hoping that with OSX we could get
what we wanted from a mac in spite of what Apple wanted to give us... the drooling clueless masses.
So then by your definition I would not be able to tell people about something that could increase the level of happiness and satisfaction in their lives because they may not know that they are lacking it?
Or perhaps a better analogy would be my inability to tell you about it because some jerk on television was misrepresenting it and pissed your roommate off and now won't allow anyone who could be loosely affiliated with it into the room that you share.
I am not advocating a/. where everyone says whatever they want when it is off topic and has nothing to add to the discussion, but if I can add to the discussion with an aside about Christianity why should I be prevented from that?

I'm aware that there don't seem to be many titles for the mac but what has he done specifically?
Apple is Apple. They are inextricably interwoven with Jobs genius/ego/lunacy. One without the other is just not successful.
