Anti-gun nuts are always throwing suicides in as part of the statistics of gun deaths. While the death did come via a firearm it is no more a gun death as is commonly discussed, as someone running their car into a wall intentially is a traffic accident.
And if 5 is all you can come up with, I'd say the gun range is a pretty safe place to be.
American pilots had the same problem from the 40 to the 80's or so as the airlines were highering mostly exmilitary who brought with them the command structure of the cockpit.
This was also cited as a primary cause for the Tenerife accident that killed over 500. The Dutch captain pilot was (I think) the most senior pilot in the fleet. He was not to be questioned or your career could be over in a flash.
If you remove guns, then you would have a sword problem. If you remove sword, then you'd have spear problem. If you remove spears, then you'd have a rock problem. Get rid of rocks and it would simply be the biggest guy wins.
The "gun problem" is merely another face of a violence problem.
I would prefer to put my children in a school where all parents educate their children on firearms and are active in firearm sports. That way, kids a less likely to go rooting through bedroom drawers.
Ignorance of danger doesn't make the danger go away.
Why does it still take fucking drivers, patches, and voodoo to fucking hook up a regular printer and make it function?
Shit, I can plug in a VGA 13" or a 42" flat panel and the computer runs that just fine. Printers, I guess, are beyond the average PhD at Microsoft and Apple.
Those fuckers lost a check I sent and it will cost me $30 to cancel and resend. I wonder if I can get a record showing it at least made it into the postal system.
...of where you fall in the political spectrum, I think that everyone can agree that, as of late, the Administration has been exceptionally sloppy, amateurish, and far too invasive (due to sheer laziness).
The military teacher leadership. Officers practice leadership. We have many ex-officers (is there really any such thing) at my company because the know how to navigate red tape, lead by example and get things done.
I've seen many fresh MBA brats crash and burn because all they knew was school.
And when the IRS wants 10% more each year just because, and without respect to your income, they will soon run you into bankruptcy, not because you screwed up your taxes.
Same thing here. Emissions of X is legal now, but will soon be illegal. If they manage to reduce it to meet the new standards, they will ratchet it down again until it is not economically feasible to operate.
When the feds put a coal plant out of business because of more stringent emissions standards make it uneconomical to operate, then regulations put it out of business.
Plants that are economical now will not be soon solely due to actions of the Feds.
But, if you are willing to forgo the attractive locations, you can get plenty of it for plenty cheap.
I said mass shootings.

Damn correct speling! It is the mark of sheep!

It wasn't until after Tenerife that the concept of the Crew Resource Management began to be taught.

umm..nope. None of that is self defence.
It's two assholes behaving like assholes.
Funny, I've never heard of a mass shooting at a rifle range.

...I'd shock it with a giant does of chlorine.

What Obamacare will not let you do is have a low cost, catastrophic plan. Which is what I have...$3000 deductible and a $36 or so a month fee.
If I stay healthy, I win. If not, I'm no worse off than having the full service plan. If the shit really hits the fan, I'm covered.
Oh yeah...NPR. Now there's a completely objective and truthful source.
It's called dereliction of duty.
That's the more interesting news. He is effect coming out and saying he has invented a cure for paralysis.

Exactly.

If that were the case, then my concealed carry permit, granted in Texas, would be applicable to MA.
Since that isn't the case, then I expect the issue is more complicated than it looks.
Nonetheless, people were worried and they were explicitly written out
And a good thing that was considering the nature of government these days.
If YOU want to force others to build new plants, we'll just send your hydro to them and you can build something else.
Then you should be the first fucker to sit in the dark.
That's a pretty fucking lame analogy.

HE FUCKING SAID THIS IN 2008
If emission regulations keep getting tighter and tighter and tighter, how to you expect any plant to be able to operate?
When the feds put a coal plant out of business because of more stringent emissions standards make it uneconomical to operate, then regulations put it out of business.
Plants that are economical now will not be soon solely due to actions of the Feds.
