  1. Vote with your dollars! on Delphi for Linux · · Score: 1
A co-worker from a previous job taught me that "Capitalism is the highest form of democracy." The point being no matter what your form of government is, no one can force to "buy" anything. So, that which you do put your hard earned cash to is a statement - "I like this product/service. I would like to see more of the same."

Point: Voice your opinion! Vote for more quality software! Buy Delphi for Linux!

I could rant, just like the rest of you, but it's just becoming too frequent that things like this happen. It's exhausting.

  5. The End of GIF? on GD Graphics Library withdrawn · · Score: 1

This doesn't surprise me. It appears that UNISYS is bound and determined to end GIF as a graphics file format. GD should go PNG and be done with it. This bit of news is probably a great reason to do so.

No, no, you don't understand. What you want is the PepsiCo distribution (v1.0) of the Open Recipe version of Mountain Dew. Everyone would be able to compile their own version of Mountain Dew, if they wish. One could disable caffeine, enable NutraSweet(TM), or whatever desired for your own platform needs!

    Just plain brilliant.
