If you happen to be in the Bay Area May 30th, 31st, bring your students to Maker Faire at the San Mateo Expo Center. Students (13 - 20) can spend an entire day at Maker Faire for $10 if tickets are purchased in advance. Compare that to Six Flags.
And MakerShed.com has some awesome DIY tech kits for middle schoolers and teens as well.
