we folks who dont live in america must be missing out on something..... I have a 975cc car, and i can cruise comforatably at 90-100 mph. sure the car is light, but i doubt many vehicles would survive an impact at that pace. I did however have a guy rear shunt me whilst i was going 60+ and there aint a scratch.
Mebbe we have larger penises here and dont have a need to compensate? (apologies, for the blatant, but unavoidable trolling)
I would like to add to this that lego is a creative toy that encourages people of all ages to explore and create.... a manufacturer of bricks has no control over your home, nor does a steel maufacturer take creative royalties for your car..
Never been to lego land then??? surely they woulda called it legos laned if it had been meant that way.. after all there is more than one piece of lego in that place. I grew up a stones throw from the wonderful place itself and until i started talking to americans had never heard of "legos"
Surely a lot of the "affect of VR actions in RL" debate is down to the flesh and blood person receving these responses...
As a regular IRCer I belong to several "communities" populated by people from all walks of life.. Some with mental "problems".. others without.. Someone abusing me in IRC blows over me like an ill wind leaving little but a generally pissy feeling.. others i know have been driven to distress by words.
Should any punishment be based on this distress? (ie The affect the VR actions have on RL) or on the action itself. Morphed into an RL situation... is the violent assault of a frail old lady necessarily worse than a like assault on a 23 year old quaterback?
Not exactly new, but julian mays 8 book series rocked my world (and subsequently i have had to buy the whole set 9 times as the rest have been mercilessly stolen)
