This must be what you mean. I read a story about the early versions of this, the radar (the white dome on top) was so good it would track it's own rounds as they left the gun and shoot them. Bad thing if you wanted to shot an incoming threat, good show to watch I'am betting

Every host, router ,web server, dns server, ftp server and every computer connected to the internet needs an IP. There are ways to share an IP but I have to think that of all the host on the internet more than 98% are just grandmothers browsing the web, that leaves a smaller and smaller amount for every one else. The crunch is on, just try to get your ISP to give you a static IP or your own block without some explaning.

As he points out this has been going on for some time, but in this case the "new" software like napster and GNUtella give the people with the power another chance to get a little more $$ and power out of us with law suits. As time goes on it is going to be harder and harder to be a person acting on his/her own. I see this as the start of a war. One that will be fought first in the courts and then back in cyberspace.

    Time to pick a side.

[rant] I can't let this go, I just read the story and it is far from 50 pages, it's only 20. and most of it is wasted space because it is the size of a paperback. You say that your eyes hurt after reading a long story on the comptuer, you need to see a doctor and change the lights around your computer. After hours of reading I can see how it would hurt but the 30 min (more or less) that I spent reading the story shouldn't hurt. And don't even tell me you turned your computer on just for this?! I would thank that most of us leave our computers on all day, so the bill for the electricity is just shit. And this story is in PDF format that allows you to print it out if you want to, it only was about 2-3 min on my HP R60. and one last thing before I get moderated down for flamebate, I don't think Mr. King is still in this for the $$, his last book onine and this one show that he is trying to start something new and make a better name for himself than just that spoky guy .Let the moderation begen. You are right, I should have added "there is a time and place for cheating." another thing that I forgot is that Warcraft II will only let you cheat in Single player mode, if you type "it is a good day to die in the chat window during online play the only thing that will happen is that the other players will think that you like Star Trek to much. I did like the option to allow cheats to be included on the game creation menu, so if after a hard game we could kill lots of shit before going to bed for the night, some times you just need to do that.

  15. But I wana cheat! on Multiplayer Game Cheating · · Score: 3

I think that some times a little chitting can add to a game, come on how many can say that you haven't got home from work and entered "it is a good day to die" in to the chat Window of Warcraft II and send a Peon out to kill the dark armys of the humans? Helps with the stress and it can add a little to the game.
