  1. public safety concerns on 'Download This Gun' — 3-D Printed Gun Reliable Up To 600 Rounds · · Score: 0

There is a public safety issue with being able to print usable weapons; what will you do when your kids get into an argument, print a weapon, and one kills his brother or sister? or his friends? Note that I use the male pronoun because girls are unlikely to kill. Hobbes Leviathan excluded women for reasons, not the least of which is that women don't war against each other, he was writing in the civil war in England, and he wasn't including women in his statement that "the state of nature of man is solitary, poor, nasty, brutish and short".

  2. Chrome! on Microsoft Security Products Flag Google Chrome As a Virus · · Score: 0

FUNNY!!! Of course Mickey Mouse... ooops! Sorry... Of course microsoft programmed Windows8 to think that Chrome - and anything Linux - is a virus on the system because the bully still wants its market dominance, and it's threatened by Linux. We should all switch over to Linux and kill the Microsoft platform, since all your programs will work on it.

Microsoft, and Billy Gates is a bully who ought to be taken with the highest levels of suspicion for the way they treated the OS market in the 1990.

  4. Linux market share? on Is Linux's "Overall Market Share" Statistic Meaningful? · · Score: 1

Everyone responding to this thread that I have read thus far has stated that market share is 1%. If we did a little digging, we might find that in March we (linux users) actually reached 2%: http://digg.com/linux_unix/Linux_Cracks_2_of_the_market_according_to_W3Counter

  5. Do we want it? on Shuttleworth Says Ubuntu Can't Just Be Windows · · Score: 1

If we can't beat Windows, the questions must be put: Do we even want to? Is it not possible to figure out our own game? If we want to beat them, then we should come up with better questions centring around where we want to start; what specifically do we want? If we want to beat them, where do we want to beat them?
