  5. Router-on-a-Stick on Subnets and Network Browsing? · · Score: 1

Sounds wierd, but im doing semester 3 of CCNA studies, and one method is to set up VLANs for your network, and connect them all to a router to make them talk to each other. As VLANs restrict broadcast domains, and routers can talk between VLANs, you'd fix the problem without having to mess with subnetting:) Less of a headache than walkin from station to station redoing tcp/ip settings:P

  6. One Scan Shopping on Enter The 'Stupid Patent Tricks' Contest · · Score: 1
By sweeping an item's barcode accross the scanner of an object that resembles a feline, a customer(Hereby reffered to as SUCKER) will be able to buy a product. SUCKER will not have the option of viewing any sort of confirmation screen, as this will interfere with Digital Convergence's (Hereby reffered to as STARTUP) mother company, amazon.com (Hereby reffered to as MOTHERSHIP). This product will not only revolutionarize the progression in STARTUP to SUCKER ratio, but will also provide great profits to both involved companies. As an added bonus, STARTUP is not required to deliver the end product to SUCKER, as this may hinder our progress in taking over the world (Read: TV). All feline-shaped scanners will furthermore have a unique identifier, called a serial number (see US patent 054843030943545546545 for STARTUP's patent on serial numbers) that will track SUCKER's shopping statistics on the web, and immediately post their address and phone number as well as their personal scanning history on MOTHERSHIP's sister company, EBAY.COM for bidding.

The proposed patent will aid in further causing cashflow in the united states economy in the following methods:

    1. The patent will give STARTUP the right to chase after other companies such as grocery stores and malls and force them to pay STARTUP money to use the scanning patent.
    1. STARTUP will be able to take over MOTHERSHIP^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H continue our relationship with MOTHERSHIP in order to further aid US economy.
Thankyou for chosing Digital Convergence, and stay in school

The truth is, its great that i get courses like this offered to me. The problem is, the courses are in such demand that more and more teachers are egtting sucked into it and not nessecarily trained to the baseline. This problem leads to misinformed questions such as my own. I dont know if cisco will make much money off of this, as I am one of 5 or so students not failing (69 and below is failing) the class. Regardless, its a great attempt, and makes my life a bit more simple in the future.
