YES! I will give credit where it is due! I think Steve Buscemi did an excellent job bringing the character Gollum to life. If not just for the inspiration....
(ok, am i the ONLY ONE who thinks Gollum looks EXACTLY like Steve Buscemi?)
Some friends and i built a crazy treehouse back when we were in high school... -It had twin skylights (made from a storm door), -The walls were made from the giant political sign they would put up in vacant lots around town. (basically just particle board), -we had two full rooms AND -a small porch where we could sit and look over the "valley" (there was a stream nearby, just down the hill). -A full size door connected the two rooms, and the front room had a window. -we also had a rope swing off the porch which was WAY cool.
it was roughly 6 feet off the ground (the tree we built it on was one of those three-trunked varieties, kinda strange.)
Needless to say, some punk kids found it like 6 months later and trashed it... of course our craftsmanship was so good, all they really did was smash out the windows!:)
...but the rich can still mule!
Yes. They can buy another account and mule away. And in turn their extra fee can help pay for the extra database server they're obliging us to buy. Is this a crass businessy thing to say? Maybe. But I'm being honest and realistic here.
Sure... in the end, we are all just trying to make a buck!
Betamax died because Sony didn't license the proper video titles. Panasonic(I think, or whoever developed VHS)got all the good titles, i.e. E.T., Star Wars, etc. Sony had all the crummy movies. I still have a Betamax player and I still use it to watch my old copy of Pee Wee's Big Adventure that i bought from Erol's when it went out of business. I personally think the quality is great. Super-Beta on the other hand....Now That is where it's at!!!!!
