There is actually a total lockout of the voice feature available... same for the ability to download items for a fee. So if you're a parent, or account owner in a situation where others could use your credit card to download stuff you don't want them to (student in a dorm room, etc) you can turn off these features. Your settings can then be password protected... although the password is just 4 entries long, and is limited to up, down, left, right, x, and y if I remember correctly.
It's all aboot the vanilla and cream stout swirl... Micro batch Ice Cream!! For real, that stuff is the bomb. Forgive my shameless capitalism, but it is _GooD_. Sign me Bitcholific, -JOE
I hope one of the things this guy stood up for was the removal of the Malicious Windows Paperclip !! Seriously, though, I found it to be a good article. I think that he adequately expressed the idea that the people he was working with were people like most of us -- geeks doing our thing for $$. Maybe I lack the moral fibre of most of the/. readership, but I wanna be Stinking Filthy Rich(tm) and that's what I got out of the article -- these were nice, friendly, smart people who were more enticed by financial stability than Open Source evangelism. Can't we all just get along:-P ?? Great Piece. My only critisism is that the perfect Word Processor exists, it's called 'vi'. Save your flame for/dev/null. -AGENT K

It's nice to see someone's name in a slashdot story that you know for once. Just though I'd give Kahil some props ....

As long as I can root Diego Garcia by just walking down the street and listening to him speak his login and password into his PDA it's all good....
