Yanno, to me this sounds a alot like the whole "we want a copy of everyone's private encryption key so we (government) can protect you (suckers) from wrongdoing...and we *promise* not to use your key without a court order (or unless we're really bored)..." I'm sick to death of companies claiming to be protecting users' information (while selling the info to spammers) and denying the last breakin to their mainframe where the crackers made off with all our "safe" information. Long live encryption...screw CPUIDs
