I'm not sure what your comment has to do with the sentence you quoted. The part you quoted had to do with the fact that two bored people noticed that as person posted more and more videos that even though the quality of the videos would go up (as in production quality, etc) that the subsequent popularity of those later works wouldn't necessarily be higher than the previous works that were of a lesser quality.. It has nothing to do with the costs on Google of storing videos.
No, these numbers are calculated based on the amount of revenue they take in (which is a pittance) minus the much bigger costs that it takes to run the site.
I'm pretty sure that simply adding IQ to the regression would explain everything: low iqs: facebook account & low grades, high iqs: no facebook account & high grades.
Funny since Mensa runs a facebook account and have many of their members on it as well. I guess that blows your whole theory out of the water.
Except the GP was referring to apps created to sell on the App Store. Only Apple can make apps that run in the background and can be sold on the App Store. That was the point they were trying to make, not that it was impossible to make an app run in the background unless you were Apple.
I'm pretty sure anyone except for people who are trying to nitpick non-issues knew that Obama was only talking about Federal taxes. There are plenty of good reasons to bash Obama, this one is just flat out stupid.
Because they didn't want 1k, they pushed the wrong button?
Well if they didn't want 1k or they pushed the wrong button then they can easily cancel the auction and re-list it. WoW has always given you that ability.
Yeah, but then it would probably be impossible to enforce their patent pool since the BSD/MIT licenses don't require you to even acknowledge that you've combined their code into a proprietary product.
All it takes is a cut sopmewhere along hundreds of miles of cable
That would be more probably like millions if not billions of miles of cable that criss-cross the country. And exactly how are you going to remedy that? The fact of the matter is there is neither enough people or resources to protect every inch of those cables.
They don't. They only have about 1.7 billion in assets and less than 700 million in cash. They'd have to get some pretty hefty financing to buy Sun and I doubt anyone is going to loan them money that would amount to 12-15 times their total revenue last year.
The OP was talking about a solution that is "automatic and I don't need to be there". "mow it themselves" doesn't quite fit the bill.
Actually the OP said "BY ITSELF with NO HUMAN INTERVENTION" so asking the kid down the street or a lawn crew to do it would also not fit the bill. But since the GP was already suggesting ways to do it WITH HUMAN INTERVENTION you might as well just save yourself the money and just mow it yourself and burn a bit off fat off that ass.
Your post is ironic for the ironic use of irony.

Except it's not a faux tech expression. It comes from breaking out of a chroot jail. Lern2Unix plox.
I guess Obama didn't like the idea of poor people doing along with himself.
Or maybe it's because he had fuck all to do with those taxes since they were passed by state legislatures.
I'm pretty sure anyone except for people who are trying to nitpick non-issues knew that Obama was only talking about Federal taxes. There are plenty of good reasons to bash Obama, this one is just flat out stupid.
Which part of STATE legislatures did you not understand?
Because they didn't want 1k, they pushed the wrong button?

If the vorpal sword of god slaying is "mispriced" where the owner was selling it for 1k instead of 1000k, its unethical to take advantage of it.
Why is that unethical? If they are getting the price that they wanted, why is it unethical to pay that price?
Don't worry they've brought in some big trucks to dump things on in case there is any damage to the tubes.
Is Verizon really doing GPONs now?
Yeah, they announced they were going to doing it back in mid 2007 and started laying lines early 2008.
Last I heard, it was slower PONs, not even ethernet-based, in the area of 20-50Mbps.
Huh? GPON is gigabit.
It's not multiple cuts. It's just two cuts
You've just contradicted yourself.
1 : consisting of, including, or involving more than one
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/multiple
Unless someone has changed things, I'm pretty sure two is more than one.
Yeah, but then it would probably be impossible to enforce their patent pool since the BSD/MIT licenses don't require you to even acknowledge that you've combined their code into a proprietary product.
Considering they've been laying down hundreds of thousands of GPON lines for over a year, I'm guessing they've found a way.
Nope, it had to have been those darned vandals.
At least it wasn't those smelly visogoths who did it.
I hear San Francisco has some of the most experienced pipe specialists in the country
That's what he said!
Well just to back him up in case the OP was being serious, some fiber optic cabling does use copper tubing as a water shield.
WHOOSH?

I don't know if RedHat has the capital,
They don't. They only have about 1.7 billion in assets and less than 700 million in cash. They'd have to get some pretty hefty financing to buy Sun and I doubt anyone is going to loan them money that would amount to 12-15 times their total revenue last year.
While Sun may not be the strongest FOSS advocate
lolwut? Sun has been one of the biggest FOSS advocates for almost a decade. What rock have you been living under?

But I want my data to be tight not loose!
