think back on your previous experiences with previous companies you worked at within the it business.
did they value the above two points?
my experience was, that 90% of the companies dont give you the above, instead they hire young, and keep short.
thats why im switching not only companies, but also from it to another job.
actually, theres a well known fact, that not so long ago, some guy in germany had peoples killed because of their medical situation.
i personally dont trust humanity far enough to letting them know about my health situation.

ive heard leader, one of the candidates mistakenly saying iraq again while iran was ment, quarreling over how to lead the world best.
i am speechless now, and i am feeling sorry for you guys that you, and we as a planet have to cope with that.

this one scares me quite alot, seeing as most of today's blogs/pages/websites do run on mysql.
and i somehow doubt, that oracle will continue with mysql...
i see long nights ahead of all of us...
if id do that with my job, id have to pay alot of money...
either that guy just had enough money, or privacy and companies secrets dont mean a thing in the us.
I think your case is a special, but ive had other situations as a coder...
its not so much for the things provided, but after all, coding, or brain work is not like switching something on or off, there are day to day differences in how your mind and brain works...
alot of companies and customers tend to think that coding is like clicking the start button in windows, which one might also do, when having two double whiskeys behind him...
i think we as a society need to learn alot till such things are outgrowing...
