This guy made Slashdot because he was especially stupid, not simply because he was caught, and not because he was a Republican. He tried to commit a crime, but went about it in a very idiotic way - made contact with someone he had no logical reason to trust and requested an illegal job, discussed details that were way out of his depth and technical expertise, freely gave away his personal information, went outside to take a picture of some pigeons (I guess to prove that he is one himself) - the whole story just shows an incredible lack of intelligence and sophistication - any kind of subtlety or careful discretion in how he sought criminal help - and he got completely suckered as a result. Amen - there is never a shortage of people that should be removed from the gene pool.
he said what he meant, but that simply can't be factual. that means the 50+ light bulbs in my hohuse alone are the equivalent of over 65 million vehicles. Wow! can you imagine how many vehicles a hospital would be responsible for?!
No doubt, without having to go into the office once in awhile, who's phone would you get to put scotch tape on the microphone? your own? that's just not fun...
Education: Bush signed the No Child Left Behind bill with Kennedy, then refused to spend the money budgeted the bill by Congress. The money is still sitting there and the bill's provisions are not being followed by Bush.
Wrong --- the money is there, it's up to the school districts to apply for it and use it. nobody in the administration or in Congress can force the school districts to do that. They have to take responsibility and do the application work themselves. Oh wait we already know they don't want to do anything themselves, after all they simply want someone else to do the friggin work for them.
Keep in mind the article said that Justice and FBI wanted to 'maintain access'. That implies they already have access and are actively using it. FBI already knows what tree you took a leak behind when you were two, be paranoid... be safe.

That was a BS claim.
