    Really it's the only way to protect them. Sometimes kids don't have just their eyes molested at the library. In the adult world people have to deal with shit worse than a guy quietly watching porn, but the guy is probably going to have to deal with some shit himself (and older kids are actually the meanest!).

    IANAL but I think libraries are supposed to be fairly comprehensive, and that failure to supply books because of objectionable content has in fact been ruled to be illegal.

    A well-stocked library contains plenty of pornographic books, so it's kind of a slippery slope for the library. And unless you yell "gather round children" while using the computer you aren't really "showing" porn to minors. I agree that the library could encourage people to be discreet, but really kids should be in segregated areas anyway.

    The pro-choice women are obviously not too into contraception either. True motivation seems to be either the thrill of raw dogging or that they want to trap a rich man (reserving the option to kill the kid if the father's financial statements aren't satisfactory).

    If you had instead tricked or forced the bully into disrupting it instead, he would have been punished instead.

    Maybe if you trick him into stabbing you in the neck, otherwise the bully knows how to keep a low-profile and enjoys minor punishments.

    Basic infrastructure doesn't really require what we know as "government". If a community needs drinking water forming political organizations and a bureaucracy is not what is needed.

    They can keep you in jail for years waiting for a trial too. Doesn't seem that bad when it's a brutal mob boss being deprived of freedom and a deluxe defense team. The legal system is more concerned with order than justice.

    Amazon has better service than most big box or mom & pop stores, offline or online. Granted its dominant position helps, but other retailers are such terrible performers that it's not really worth dealing with them even if their prices are lower.

    I think all those work programs are voluntary. Obviously it's still a problem if laws are partly written to round up a captive workforce. Hispanic black market labor is already as cheap as it gets, which why the government supports it as much as possible.

    Wouldn't you be more likely to fault Gucci for making $5000 purses in sweatshops than Hanes for making $1 T-shirts? With 2-5 times the profit margin of other companies Apple is 2-5 more exploitative.

    Walmart at least takes advantage of Chinese manufacturing to offer low prices and maintain a thin profit margin; Apple, not so much.

    Can't really blame rich people with large families. Naturally redistributes the wealth and creates a high-quality next generation. One child for a single-mother is already too much, while Romney should really be allowed at least 6 more wives to produce another 50 children.
