I would classify it more like being an indentured servant. They are attempting to strip away the workers right through a contract which should never be possible in the first place. Perhaps, the only exception being issues of National Security or the military.
Is there any way to justify this when some (maybe all) fortune 500 companies have all of their employees under IP / non-compete clauses?
